Who can use Tapverse

You must be at least 13 years old to use Tapverse. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use Tapverse only with the permission of a parent or guardian.

You are responsible for your account and for everything done with it. Keep access to your email secure, since we sign you in with codes sent there.

Games and other content you publish

You keep ownership of the games, text and other content you publish. You give Tapverse a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, copy, display, run, distribute and promote that content on and around Tapverse, for as long as it is published and for a reasonable time afterwards (for example in backups and earlier versions).

You confirm that you own or have permission to use everything in what you publish, including code, art, music and assets generated with AI tools, and that it does not break any law or anyone else's rights.

Your games must follow the Community Guidelines. Games run in an isolated space and only get camera or microphone access that you declare and players allow; you are responsible for how your game uses it.

Playing games

Games are made by independent creators, not by Tapverse. We don't review every game before it's published and we're not responsible for their content, but we remove games that break these terms when we become aware of them.

Report games that break the rules with the report button, or send copyright complaints through our DMCA page.

What's not allowed

Don't misuse Tapverse: no malware or phishing, no attempts to access other people's accounts or data, no interfering with the service or its security, no automated scraping or inflating of plays, likes or followers, and no using multiplayer rooms for anything other than your game.

Enforcement

We may remove content, hide games, or suspend or close accounts that break these terms or put people or Tapverse at risk. Where appropriate we will tell you why.

Accounts of users who repeatedly infringe copyrights will be closed.

Disclaimers and limits of liability

Tapverse is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows.

To the extent the law allows, [COMPANY LEGAL NAME] LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for content created by other users.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms. If changes are significant we will tell you on Tapverse before they take effect. Continuing to use Tapverse means you accept the updated terms.
