Games you can play right away

Every game on Tapverse runs in the browser on phones, tablets and computers. Each one has its own page that shows what it looks like, what it's about, how to play it and what you need: how many players, which controls (touch, keyboard and mouse, or an Xbox or PlayStation controller) and whether it uses the camera or the microphone.

Games adapt to the screen you have. If a game is made for landscape, the Tapverse app turns the screen for you; on computers, games made for phones play in a phone-sized frame instead of being stretched.

Better with friends

Many games are multiplayer. Create a room, share its link or code, and your friends join in seconds: Tapverse hosts the rooms, so creators don't need servers and players don't need accounts on other services. In the app you can invite the people you follow and they get a notification to join you.

You can follow creators, like and save games, comment, and mark yourself as available to play so friends know when to invite you.

Made by creators

Anyone can publish a game: upload an HTML file or a ZIP with an index.html, add a cover and a few details, and it's playable at once. Creators can make games with any web engine or tool, including AI assistants: Tapverse publishes the rules a game needs to work well here, and the AI builder turns an idea into a complete prompt any AI can follow.

Creators manage everything from Creator Studio, on the web or in the app: new versions with notes, screenshots, covers and trailers, stats about their players, and the option to roll back to an earlier version at any time.

Safe to play

Games run isolated from Tapverse and from each other, each on its own address, and they only get the camera or microphone after the player agrees, first on Tapverse's own screen and then in the browser.

Every game is reviewed by Tapverse before it appears in the iPhone app, and updates are reviewed too. Players can report games, comments and people, and block anyone. Reports reach our moderation team, which removes content and suspends accounts that break the Community Guidelines. Tapverse is for ages 13 and up, and games for adults are only shown to people who declared they are 18 or older.
